Ces nouvelles plantations, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement r\u00e9alis\u00e9es sur de vastes superficies, n\u2019utilisent qu\u2019une seule esp\u00e8ce, et parfois un seul clone d&rsquo;arbre. De tels \u00e9cosyst\u00e8mes fortement homog\u00e8nes du point de vue sp\u00e9cifique et g\u00e9n\u00e9tique, se r\u00e9v\u00e8lent vuln\u00e9rables, en particulier face aux attaques de nombreux bio-agresseurs end\u00e9miques ou introduits (bact\u00e9ries, champignons, insectes, n\u00e9matodes, etc.).
