He spent four years of post-doctoral fellow at the university of Turin (2004-2008) analysing truffle phylogeny, evolution and barcoding. He joined the INRA-Lorrain UMR \u201cInteraction Arbres-Microorganismes\u201d in 2008 to take in charge the truffle programs in the UMR. He has particular skills in population genetic and genomic, barcoding, next generation sequencing and genomic (http:\/\/scholar.google.fr\/citations?user=bNmLFk0AAAAJ&amp;hl=fr). Claude is associated editor\u00a0for\u00a0Mycorrhiza (https:\/\/link.springer.com\/journal\/572) and Italian Journal of Mycology (https:\/\/italianmycology.unibo.it\/). Claude is part of the highly cited researcher list published by Clarivate (https:\/\/hcr.clarivate.com\/#freeText%3Dclaude%20murat). He is\u00a0 in charge of the know-how licence to produce inoculated plants with truffle between INRA and nurseries. He was also hired to make the link between INRA and truffle industry (i.e. truffle growers and plant producers). He is particularly interested by valorisation of research findings such as the transfer research results toward field and industry, e.g. he is co-inventor of an international patent issue to genomic researches and he is the principal investigator of a research programs between INRA, \u00a0private nurseries and truffle industry (ControlTruf, ClimaTruf, CulturTruf). In 2007, he was at the origin of the creation of a start-up DiNAMYCODE. In this start-up of University of Turin Claude was responsible of marketing strategies and laboratory management.
