The Joint Research Unit (In French, UMR) 1136 Tree-Microbe Interactions is part of The Lab of Excellence for Advanced Research on the Biology of TRee and Forest Ecosystems (ARBRE). It is under the double tutelage of INRAE and Université de Lorraine.
The present Director of the unit (DU) is Pascal FREY (DR INRAE), who is assisted by two Deputy Directors (DUAs): Claire Veneault-Fourrey (DR INRAE) and Arnaud Hecker (Prof. Université de Lorraine).
Direction and administrative section
The Department is composed of three functional research teams that are under the supervision of Bénédicte Fabre, Marc Buée (campus INRAE) and Mélanie Morel-Rouhier (university campus):
- Ecogenomics of interactions team managed by Marc Buée, located at Campus INRAE of Nancy-Lorraine at Champenoux
- Ecology of forest pathogenic fungi team managed by Bénédicte Fabre, located at Campus INRAE of Nancy-Lorraine at Champenoux
- Stress response and redox regulation team managed by Mélanie Morel-Rouhier, located at Université de Lorraine Faculté des Sciences et Technologies Campus at Vandoeuvre-lès-Nancy
